   Hi Lindsay,

   The Chinese Almanac for finding auspicious dates isn’t released until October 2007, me and my fiancee are also waiting for the almanac so that we can find an auspicious date for our wedding.

    Hi, I know there are quite a few of you ladies who have left comments about the Auspicious dates for 2008 but my fiancee has gone on holiday for 2 weeks to Hong Kong and Thailand. So we won’t be able to post the dates until he come back. Please check back in a few weeks

    the above is just general idea of goods dates - if you want more accurate information you will still need to consult a tong sing

    dear sally,

    i found ur interesting website cos i was doing some research cos i’m suppose to write a lil story on weddings on Aug 8, 2008 (i’m a rookie reporter with a local newspaper)… so far, no one has booked restaurants for weddings on that date here (penang, Malaysia) cos it falls on the month of the hungry ghost… i’m going to try to get some numerologist to comment on that date (080808).

    by the way, i’m getting married on Nov 22 next year… i didnt consult any feng shui master… decided on the date cos it would be convenient for both our families to be together…

    THESE 2008 WEDDING DATES DON’T GIVE THE CONFLICTING ZODIAC SIGNS FOR EACH DATE AS YOU GAVE FOR THE 2007 DATES. DO YOU THINK YOU CAN ADD THEM IN SOMETIME? IT WOULD REALLY HELP ME DECIDE.

    I don’t have the conflicting animals signs for 2008 as the Tong Sing book doesn’t have that info.

    The 2009 Tong sing will not be released until nearer the end of 2008.

    I don’t know why there is only 1 saturday in july that is auspicious. I’m not the one who decides the dates, I just get the dates from the official Tong Sing book.

    No not all the other dates are unlucky, they just are considered ‘normal’ days. There are some inauspicious dates for 2008 so watch out for those when picking a wedding date

    hi sally, thanks alot for the list of wedding dates. i made a post on another page on your site, sorry but i would like to make my question clearer.

    since we would be doing my tea ceremony, receiving of the bride, on the 28th of Dec, that’s a lucky day, so that’s good…

    but we would be doing the wedding dinner on 29th Dec, which supposedly conflicts with roosters, would that be ok? since it’s just dinner and not the customary?

    I think its upto both your parents if they are ok with having the banquet the day after, since its usually the ‘oldies’ who are superstitious.

    If we were in your position, we would probably go ahead with it, seeing as our families aren’t that superstitious. If you’re really worried, why don’t you wait til 2009.

    I’m not an auspicious date expert or a fortune teller but on the 28th you will be officially married so after then, the auspicious and inauspicious dates will not apply to you. I suggest you talk to your fiance and your family about these issues.

    Hi Nancy, the only reason why we’re getting married is because I only have tuesday’s off, whereas Dave has weekends off work. Plus the fact that most of my family and friends also have tuesdays off too. As a bonus its also cheaper to get married on a weekday.

    i just gone thru your list of auspicious dates to get married in February and i noticed 28/02/2008 is not listed. Does that mean it’s not auspicoous? I have this calendar at home that shows chinese auspicious dates and it says 28/02/2008 is ideal for marriage. But why is it that when i go online to search for auspicious date, the closest auspicious date is 27/02/2008? Could my calendar be wrong? I’ve set the date 28/02/2008, which is tomorrow, to register at the ROM. What should i do now?

    so many ppl are leaving comments on yr site.. (so popular lah!) so i am not sure if you rmbr me.. haha.. i’ve not been here in awhile..been super busy at work..
    anyway, if u rmbr.. i told u that our wedding date is 26th July - and we picked it ourselves.. and u told me its a day after yr bday..

    heh.. we’re really lucky.. coz i jus saw yr post and 26th is e only sat in Jul dats auspicious. heh.. happy! altho ‘ i dun really believe in these stuff.. (which is also why we picked the date ourselves.. not wanting to chk the almanac and all) keke
    but ya.. now dat we noe this.. at least the older folks wont say much abt us not gg thru the usual process of date-picking. we still got it right. heh =)

    anyhows, noe u’re into the last bit of yr wedding planning… have fun..enjoy yrself.. dun be stressed and be a pretty bride!!!

    Hi Guys, anyone asking for Auspicious Weddings Dates for 2009 will have to wait until later on this year as the chinese almanac will not be released until then and without the tong sing book, you cannot find out any wedding dates.
