Love them or hate them, gladiator sandals are going strong in 2009. No doubt you will have seen them on the shelves of all high street shops and if you, like me didn’t buy into the trend in 2008 now is the time to do so. I had my doubts at first before I purchased my first pair of gladiator sandals but after seeing so many people wear them around Nottingham, I was convinced that a pair of galdiator sandals would complete my summer wardrobe.

This is the pair that I bought from Topshop. I did spend a whole day wondering round Nottingham to find the perfect pair but I had no luck. Then when I saw these online, I knew that I had to have them. They also do them in black and mint colour but I thought the natural colour would be more versatile and they are currently £40

I also adore the All Saints Finn Gladiator sandals but at £110 its way out of my price range.

And these Office ones were a contender too - £35

I think I will be wearing my gladiator sandals all through Spring/Summer and try to get as much wear out of them as possible because I have a feeling they may not be in for 2010.
