Civil weddings
Posted on June 3, 2007 in the General Wedding Plans, Wedding Venues category
I’ve been doing some research online about civil weddings. I found out that in England its not legal to get married outdoors which is abit crap. I always like the thought of getting married outside, its so much more romantic. There is however a way around this, you could have a Humanist Wedding. It’s not a legal wedding as such but you can have your wedding ceremony anyway you want. You could say your own vows, if you get married at a Register Office ceremonies they’re quite strict on what can be said or done or play your own music. You an have the ceremony anywhere and I mean anywhere, on a football pitch, on a beach or in a castle. You do still have to get married legally so is it worth having two ceremonies just so you can get married outdoors??

an outside wedding would be so nice but dangerous in England.
i think the chances of getting rained on are quite likely especially in spring.
i have my fingers crossed though xxx
