Hong Kong & Beijing December 2008

I know its been quite a while since I last updated but I’ve been asked to upload some pictures of my recent holiday to Hong Kong & Beijing.
Our first night in Hong Kong and we’re already out in Lan Kwai Fong which is one of the best areas in Hong Kong for bars and clubs

Our hotel room in Mongkok. We stayed at the Metropark Kowloon Hotel which I throughly recommend.

Here we are having a Korean BBQ buffet which was very yummy indeed

It was so cold that the lake was almost frozen over
Us outside the weird food market. They sell normal meat kebabs aswell as the insect ones like scorpian.

As it was our last night in Hong Kong we all went out for a nice seafood meal

I noticed that you and your husband went to HK and Beijing recently… my hubby and I are planning a similar trip. Just wondering how long you stayed in each of those places, and if it was convenient getting around (esp. in Beijing). Thanks! Hope married life is wonderful!
