I got the draft layout back from Kamdo.
request the honour of your presence
at the Wedding Banquet to celebrate
the marriage of their son
David
to
Ms Sally
on Tuesday 8th April, 2008
at Mr Man’s Restaurant,
Wollaton Park
Wollaton.
Nottingham
NG8 2AD
Arrival 1.00pm
Dinner 2.00pm
R.S.V.P
The difference is the added Ms onto my name. I’ve never been called Ms, I always thought it meant you are a widow but I maybe very wrong about that. I think I’ll change it to Miss Sally or maybe just leave it as Sally. I’m also going to add Mr and Mrs onto Dave’s parents name but I’ll have to confirm with Dave first.
What do you think??
Now all we have to do is confirm that the chinese wording is correct then we’re all set to go. They are requesting payment by Monday because they are closed for 2 weeks at the beginning of February as they need to start work straightaway so that it can be ready by the 31st January.
I’m not sure how we’re sending payment yet, we haven’t discussed that bit. eek!

If you are looking for beautiful wedding invitations, or other items for your wedding, might I suggest you look at myjeanm.com
It is an american website, but they will print them in any language you prefer as long as you provide the text. They have a variety of invitations to choose from as well as other reception favors you might like to look at. They are very good to work with, and provide excellent customer care.
hmm… i thought for dave’s parents, you just put, “Mr. & Mrs. Tony Shu Sun So”. i don’t think you need to put his mom’s name. also, for yourself, i think just “sally” sounds better.
Hi Christine,
I think Dave’s mom prefers her name to be in the invite aswell. We have already ordered the invites with my name as just “Sally”. Thank god the invites are over and done with.
Hello!
My name is Ionela and I live in Romania, I have 28 years old and next year I am planning to get married with my boyfriend, Radu.
I want to wish you all the good things in the world, I wish you lot of happiness and joy! And a lot, a lot of love!
I like a lot your blog!
I must tell you that my dream is to visit China! My parents visited China 27 years ago and they brought me a lot of pictures. I think is a very beautiful and interesting country!
Romania is great too, and you must visit this country. Maybe you will come here in your honeymoon!
Again, I want to wish you and your future husband all the good things in the world. I can hardly wait to see the photos from the wedding!
Have a nice day!
Kisses,
Ionela
Hi Ionela,
what a unique name! thank you for visiting my website. Congratulations to you and your boyfriend. I hope your wedding plans come along easily.
Keep checking back on my blog for wedding pics in April.
Hello, hun… glad you got ur invites started. Im just reading your post and I think ‘Sally’ on its own looks nicer.
Hey sweety, yea me and Dave think I should just have it as ‘Sally’ too.
I don’t know where I find time to write post when really I should be planning LOL
you will soon be Sally So hunny!
what you gonna write about on your blog after our wedding?
how about: “the life and times of Sally So the housewife”
he he xx
LOL, do you think anybody will actually read about my life as Mrs So. It’ll just be daily entries of how my husband bosses me around and how I rebel by going on spending spree’s hahaha
