My Chinese Wedding 2008

I’m getting married in 2008! Help!

My Hen Night/Bachlorette Party

Posted on April 2, 2008 in the General Wedding Plans category

Last week I had a very nice and relaxing Hen night with the girls. I didn’t want anything to tiring because I’m totally knackered from planning this wedding so all I wanted to do was have a nice chilled out day.

Fion and Pauline did a great job organizing everything. I know how stressful it can be to plan a whole night out for 14 girls. The Saks spa we went to was really blissful, I had a Detoxing Body Wrap and a back massage courtesy of Fion & Pauline. This was my visit to a spa and I would definitely treat myself to a pampering session again.

Dinner was held at World Service Nottingham. We had a private room which meant we could take as many pictures as we wanted. The food was lush but very rich so I could not finish my main or dessert.

Then we all went down to Tantra for a few drinks and to enjoy the live band. Which was a really different night out. Thanks to all the girls who came up to Nottingham I really appreciate it and Thank you again to Fion and Pauline for doing such a great job.

    Hi,
    well doubt youd be in the mood to reply to this so close after your wedding.
    Firstly cool wedding pics.

    Here goes=
    Im attending another Vietnamese/Chinese wedding this weekend. Ive now been to a stack of these already this year. But am again facing the same problem i always do when attending asian weddings.

    The problem,
    I belive it imperitive to wear classically fitted dinner suit {shawl collar, single button jacket with a self bow tie and a modern dinner shirt to match my armani dinner suit.}

    But i am the only who dresses like this! most of the guest tend to front up in .. like grey trouser with a blue jacket… the ladies go to extreme lengths to present nicely but the men!!

    So to blend in better im thinking i just wear a standard work suit {which are all still amazing} to the wedding… but am not comfortable doing this… but then again i dont want to stand out too much..

    what do i do?
