My Chinese Wedding 2008

I’m getting married in 2008! Help!

We did it!!! I’m finally Mrs So now!!!

Posted on April 21, 2008 in the General Wedding Plans category

Thank you for all the comments, the congratulations & well wishes.

I will write an entry in a few days about our Wedding Day but I’ll try and make it not too long as I don’t want to send anyone to sleep.

The Day was perfect, no major hiccups and the weather held out for us for a while. It was the longest day ever!! I only had about 30 mins sleep the night before and I hope you can’t tell from the pictures. I think I stayed awake for 21 hours!!! Thats why for the last few days I have been trying to catch up on sleep.

Here are a few pictures from the day. I will be posting up our professional pictures as soon as we receive them.

    Dear Sally

I’ve only just recently stumbled upon your blog and wish I found it sooner! I have found your entries very interesting and useful in planning my own Chinese wedding (I’m due to marry in 2009), and have enjoyed following your wedding plans.

I wish you and your husband a long and happy marraige.

P.S You looked every inch the princess on your wedding day.

Congratulations Aunty Sally So. Welcome to the family and good luck!!! :)

The “open door” games looked like fun, strange to see Uncle Dave with hair hahahaha.

I have put some photos of your wedding on my site when you have time to check it out. I had a fun time.

Well I wish you all the best!

    Regards,

    Ethan

PS: Hope you had a great and unforgetable honeymoon!

Congrats Sally! Love how you wore your hair. My wedding is in July 2009 but I’m already worrying about the tea ceremony. The groom’s parents kinda want me to wear the cheongsam but I’m not sure how that’d affect my hair/makeup since I only get to do hair/makeup once in the morning.

Anyways, I look forward to seeing more photos from your wedding day.

    Hi Sally,

Congratulations!! Great pictures!!! You looked gorgeous on your wedding day. :) Your honeymoon pictures were awesome. Your blog is very helpful with helping me plan my wedding, which will be on Aug 23, 2008. Maldives is one of the honeymoon destinations on our mind, but it is just not a popular destination in the U.S. I am trying to read more about it online. Seeing all your great photos make me want to stay at Anantara. :)
