Wedding Hair
Posted on June 17, 2007 in the The Wedding Look category
Whilst I was in Nottingham with my girlfriend trying on some wedding dresses, our conversation went on to wedding hair. I kinda like the idea of hair my hair half up with the bottom half curled. I don’t really fancy having all my hair in an up-do, I think it might make me look too old.
I was just searching online for some images of hair styles for inspiration and I found a hair style that I quite like

its looks so simple and classic

I can’t really find any nice images of half up half down hairstyles, guess I will just have to go out and buy a bridal magazine.

Hi Sally! First of all, many congratulations on the pending nuptials.
I know exactly how you feel re: hair decisions (I am also having a Chinese wedding on 15/10/07, I am a BBC living in Hong Kong and my fiance is German… yes, that means THREE languages on the invite!).
I want a half up/half down do too and I did eventually find a picture in a wedding magazine… But remember, you have to first take into account whether or not you will have a veil, tiara or any other hair accessories, and how you will be wearing them in your hair.
Have fun trying out hairstyles, make up, dresses etc.! It can be stressful at times organising everything for your big day. Just remember to take a little time out once in a while to really enjoy your engagement together!
Best wishes,
Kim xxx
Hi Kim, Thank you for your comments and Congratulations on your forthcoming wedding.
Yes Kim, I have been overwhelmed by all the decisions I have to make concerning my wedding hair style. I would like a tiara and veil. I think the best thing to do will be looking through pictures to get an idea and then talking it over with my hairdresser.
I am waiting for the stress to hit me but so far I have been taking the planning easy as we can’t book anything until we find our auspicious date. I will be having a little help from my big sister who will be getting married in October so I will be seeing what shes going to go through and hopefully that will help me with my planning.
I wish you and your fiancee a very happy future together and may your wedding day run smoothly as possible.
