Samsung U600 Review

I have just recently purchased the Samsung U600 on Orange, I used to have the Sony Ericsson W810i on Vodafone but it was time for me to get a new phone. I spent a few weeks reading reviews online for this phone and was abit unsure weather or not to get the Samsung U600 as many people said that the touch sensitive buttons were too sensitive. Apart from that issue, many of the reviews for the Samsung U600 were good.
The Samsung U600 is part of the Ultra Edition range, which features another 2 ultra slim handsets. The phone is available in four colours, sapphire blue, garnet red, platinum metal & in a copper gold colour. Which is funny because when I went to Orange in Nottingham, the sales assistant told me that the Samsung U600 would only come in sapphire blue, oh how wrong was he. The phone is very slick indeed, it really looks the part. If you just want a phone that looks good then this phone wins hands down.
The screen is a good decent size with two touch sensitive buttons at the bottom and below that there is a four-way navigation key and touch-sensitive send and end call keys. I do have to agree with the other reviews, the buttons are too sensitive which annoys me sometimes but now I’m just extra careful when I’m using the phone. If your a person who likes a quick responsive phone then I wouldn’t go for the model.
The Samsung U600 has a 3.2 megapixel camera which is one of the features that attracted me to this model. It takes pretty good pictures but I think I need to use it for a few more weeks to get a good idea. The keys are very flat so its hard to distinguish each individual key. Texting is ok, maybe a little on the slow side.
I haven’t figured out how to use my 1gb micro SD card with this phone yet and I can’t find any help online. I think this phone is good but not great, well at least I’m not missing my W810i which is a good sign.
