The Wedding Venue

We are having a Civil Wedding as neither me or my fiancee are Christian or Catholic so we can’t get married in a church. My fiancee isn’t too keen on having our civil wedding at a Registry office, he would like to have it in a old Manor type place. So the search is on to find a suitably located venue. My fiancee is coming all the way from Nottingham on the wedding day to pick me up in Worcester. Our reception/chinese wedding banquet will be in Birmingham so our Civil wedding must be held in a location between Worcester and Birmingham.
I honestly don’t mind where we get married as long as we do. Yes it will cost more to have our ceremony somewhere nice but how much more??
Sometime in the next few months we will have to visit some of these places and make our decision. In the meantime it’ll be my job to do research and pick a few that I think will be suitable. Although I think it should be the grooms job as it is his idea.
